THIS IS ME

Mechanical E.I.T. | Design, Prototyping, Product Development

I am a Mechanical E.I.T. with hands-on experience in mechanical design, rapid prototyping, and electromechanical systems. I thrive at the intersection of CAD, fabrication, and iteration; where concepts become real, testable hardware.

I care deeply about my work, continuous learning, and building a meaningful life for my family.

What am I good at?

Highlighted Skills

My work centers on designing, building, and refining functional mechanical systems from concept through real-world testing.

Mechanical Design

Concept-to-production design of functional mechanical systems and components, incorporating material selection, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability. Extensive experience translating requirements into robust CAD models and drawings.

Electrical & Programming

Design and integration of basic electrical systems and embedded controls, including component selection, wiring, soldering, and programming.

Comfortable bridging mechanical design with electronics to deliver complete electromechanical solutions.

Prototyping & Hands-On Development

Rapid iteration of physical prototypes using additive manufacturing, machining, and manual fabrication. Experienced in testing, debugging, and refining designs through multiple build cycles to validate performance and manufacturability.

Highlighted Projects

Led iterative sheet metal enclosure development for a commercial smart plant system, evolving the design across multiple revisions. Reduced part count and in house assembly complexity while improving manufacturability, serviceability, sealing, and overall product robustness in preparation for production.

Biomimetic Manta Ray Robot

Developed an award winning biomimetic robotic system to demonstrate manta ray inspired propulsion as a proof of concept. Served as the electrical and embedded programming lead, rapidly building proficiency in microcontrollers, soldering, waterproofing, and system integration under a four month timeline. The project received the program’s Most Innovative Award for technical creativity and execution.

Product Development & Manufacturing Side Business

Designed, manufactured, and sold physical products through a small scale production operation, generating $13K in revenue across 280 customer orders in two months. Owned the full product lifecycle including design for manufacturability, prototyping, production planning, and customer feedback integration. The work emphasized lean manufacturing, rapid iteration, and shipping reliable products at volume.
